The Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN) is a WHO-coordinated network of more than 360 technical institutions and networks that mobilises personnel and resources to support countries responding to acute public-health events. Its Operational Support Team, based at WHO headquarters in Geneva and regional offices, coordinates outbreak-response missions, network activities and communications.
