The Direction Générale de l'Armement (DGA) is a department of the French Ministry of Defence whose mission is to prepare the future of French defence systems, equip the French armed forces and promote exports by the French defence industry. DGA Maîtrise NRBC's expertise covers the knowledge, analysis and control of risks caused by radiological, biological and chemical (RBC) agents. The centre engineers and evaluates detection, protection and decontamination systems under conditions representative of operational situations, as part of the armament programmes and operations conducted by DGA's Operations Directorate.
